For its consumer-facing brands, CoW Swap & CoW Protocol, CoW Protocol is seeking a top-tier designer who will create, uphold, and consistently execute a distinctive visual identity. The chosen applicant will work for a dynamic startup that is growing quickly and has great traction. They will collaborate closely with their Principal UI Designer and report to the Head of Marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
Together with their Principal UI Designer, you’ll create an iconic visual identity for CoW Swap and CoW Protocol. You do Set up and manage a thorough design system in Figma Work with a copywriter (a future employee) to create ground-breaking campaign concepts and executions that highlight different features of the CoW Swap.
You’re responsible to create most of their user-facing visuals (by yourself), such as graphics, charts, video edits, and animations for their website, forum, documents, and social media platforms. You’ll be able to create digital ads for social media, display, and other platforms, both with and without motion.
If you’re hired, you have to create tangible promotional materials for a variety of conferences and business gatherings where CoW Swap will be present, including swag, sticker packs, banners, posters, and OOH ads.
You would help the frontend team by quickly developing fresh UX/UI components that advance decentralized interface design with a focus toward performance, usability, and fun. Make their landing pages simple to understand and fun to use.

Backend/Research Engineer (Rust)

CoW Protocol needs a passionate, self-driven Backend/Research Engineer who is proficient in Rust to assist them in creating the next wave of decentralized trade protocols. Being a member of the Innovation Team will give you access to the most recent advancements in the blockchain industry.
You’ll create prototypes for novel business scenarios like multi-chain swaps or modify the present protocol to accommodate more chains. Additionally, it will be your responsibility to work with the rest of the team to make sure that new features and systems are developed in a stable and maintained manner.
You will work with a lot of the different groups within CowSwap to make sure that new concepts are compatible with the existing system.
In one of their current co-working facilities in Berlin or Lisbon, you will have the chance to collaborate with them there. Alternatively, you can work from home and join them as a remote employee. In that case, they’ll also give you access to a nearby coworking space.
Job Responsibilities:
You’ll be responsible to create new concepts and features to enhance the Cowswap experience. This includes creating prototypes, growing their Rust backend architecture, and creating new TypeScript smart contracts and scripts.
By deploying to new blockchains or L2-systems, you’ll have to expand Cowswap’s reach: Integrations, Backend infrastructure features, and smart contract adaptations, and look into fresh commercial use cases.
Your work will be related to investigate existing use cases in conjunction with product managers and academics to develop fresh approaches to difficult technology issues. After that, you’ll provide features with high-quality code from conception to production.
You’ll be responsible to give details about your code: define Monitoring the health of their production systems with Grafana metrics. Review your coworkers’ contributions to their open-source codebase in-depth and thoughtfully.
