Data Analyst – Internship
Location: Their organization prioritizes remote work and offers a small number of remote options for this job profile.
Time: The required time commitment for this internship is 20 hours per week of part-time work.
Duration: A 12-week period is the length of a part-time internship.
The duties of this role are as follows:
- Interpret data, apply statistical methods to the findings, and produce continuous reports
- Create and implement databases, systems for collecting data, data analytics, and other plans to improve statistical effectiveness and quality.
- Obtain information from primary or secondary sources, and keep databases and data systems up to date.
- In complex data sets, recognize, examine, and evaluate any trends or patterns.
- Examine computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to filter and “clean” data, finding and fixing coding issues.
- Prioritize business and information needs with the management.
- Find and describe potential for new process improvements.
- Having the ability to evaluate current tools and databases and offer software solutions.
- Being able to communicate business requirements in simple, non-technical words
- Actively seek new chances to advance the company outside of the specific inquiries made and learn how to persuade the management to implement the required improvements.
For data analysts, the following skills and experiences are desired:
- PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift, and Tableau
- MongoDB, MySQL, Python,
- Contemporary statistical modeling
- Data analysis and Using data science methods
- Pursuing a degree in computer science at the undergraduate or graduate levels, with at least two years of programming experience, and knowledge of a range of statistical methods, including regression, discriminant analysis, cluster analysis, CART, and CHAID segmentation.
- Extensive practical experience using statistical analysis software, particularly R, Python, or SAS
- Knowledge of pertinent data frameworks
- One or more years of experience with SAS, SPSS, Python, R, SQL, and data modeling, plus experience managing outside data analytics providers
- Working knowledge of South Asian time zones
- You have a good background in analysis.

Quant Analyst – Internship
Location: They are a remote-first business and only have a few remote roles available for this job description.
Time: 20 hours per week of part-time work are required for this internship.
Duration: The average length of a part-time internship is 12 weeks.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Probability, statistics, and theories of derivative pricing.
- Delivering and programming customized solutions
- Follow up on requirements gathering and problem-solving activities to keep track of project progress.
- Participates actively in project launch meetings
- Oversees conversations between the Implementation Team, Business SMEs, End Users, Model Development Team, and Business Analysts.
- Make thorough business requirements documents that reflect the informational, analytical, and quantitative demands of important business and technology activities.
- Helping to expand upon and improve existing algorithms
- Working closely with technologists, traders, and quants to keep a leading position in the business in an increasingly electronic environment.
For a quant analyst, the following skills and experience are desired:
- Python, SQL, C++, Java, Rust JS
- Monetary markets
- Statistics
- Trends and movements in the economy
- Market risk control
- Concepts for portfolio management
- Pursuing a computer science degree at the undergraduate or graduate level with at least two years of programming experience
- Knowledge of algorithmic trading or high-frequency trading
- The capacity to perform under time- and pressure-sensitive conditions
- Working knowledge of south Asian time zones
- Ability to solve difficulties and communicate to colleagues the concepts behind them
- History of contributing significantly to a team through individual, high-caliber effort
- Acquiring knowledge of equity products and structured derivatives
